Michael and anybody else intereted in trivia...Photos #34-#37 are of Ltd#186. I was the original owner, ordered in early 1973. The top was from a supplier in Germany, supposedly cut 50 years previously. The back and sides were Indian rosewood, neck of mahagony, fingerboard peghead and bridge of ebony. inlays of abalone. The peghead was ordered as style 2 shape rather than scalloped as were most style3/Ltd. Grover tuners instead of the usual Schallers. The NBN logo was the second of three produced in abalone and gold wire, and one more was done in abalone alone, per conversation with Reb in '76. In overall good condition when i sold it thru Gruhn in the 90's, little fret wear, top laquer temperature checked when it got cold in '75, no cracks in any wood, neck straight. Photos are from '76.
